Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Special Education Teacher position is available for a high school setting located in Youngstown, OH. This contract role is scheduled for the school year and involves working 20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students unique needs
- Adapt general education curriculum to meet learning objectives for students with disabilities
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with other educators and support staff to promote an inclusive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior

Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience working with high school students in special education settings
- Strong knowledge of individualized instruction and behavior management techniques
- Ability to modify curriculum and provide acmodations based on student needs
