Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist opportunity is available at an elementary school in Cleveland, OH, offering a contract position for the upcoming school year. This role is essential in supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development through evidence-based psychological services tailored to the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify students' learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention to support students' mental health and well-being.
- Promote positive behavioral interventions and support systems within the school setting.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and maintain thorough documentation of services and progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure in Ohio.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and behavioral interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with families and school staff.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
