Job Type: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm
Age Range : 8-14
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of one-year clinical experience in working with children and families.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office applications
- Strong documentation and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Job Summary:
Best Point Education and Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate and organized Support and Transition Coordinator to join our Day Treatment Program on the Madisonville Campus. This full-time role supports students aged 8 -14 by providing direct clinical services, coordinating care transitions, managing crisis situations, and serving as a key liaison between internal teams and external community partners. The coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth intake processes, maintaining high regulatory standards, and supporting the implementation of individualized clinical and behavioral plans.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Direct Client Services: Provide mental health support to clients, assist with treatment plans, and manage crisis situations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with staff, families, and external providers to ensure effective communication and client progress.
- Administrative Duties : Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation, including incident and restraint reports, while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $18.00 to $21.00 an hour
