Lawn Fertilizer Technician

In this role, you will operate lawn care equipment, apply materials to lawns and landscapes, and help maintain the quality and appearance of our clients’ properties. Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate lawn care equipment to apply fertilizers, weed control, and other materials to client properties.
- Complete tasks assigned by the Account Manager or Supervisor, ensuring all work meets company standards.
- Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner, representing JFD’s values at all times.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain company yard, buildings, vehicles, trailers, and client work sites in a neat, clean, and organized manner.
- Follow JFD’s Lawn Care program and adhere to all safety rules and procedures.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and repairs as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- At least 1 year of experience as a lawn application technician.
- Ability to operate lawn care equipment.
- Physically able to handle the workload, including lifting up to 50 pounds and having full range of mobility in upper and lower body.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License and ability to be insured to drive company vehicles.
- Ability to drive and back up a truck and trailer.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour , depending on experience. Overtime is paid at time and a half for hours worked over 40 per week.
