About the Role

MedScope is partnering with community health centers across the Akron, OH area to recruit mission-driven Primary Care Physicians . This is a rewarding opportunity for providers who want to practice comprehensive primary care while making a direct impact on underserved populations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, continuing primary care for patients of all ages.
  

• Perform physical exams, order/interpret diagnostics, and develop treatment plans.
  

• Prepare and review case histories, conduct patient interviews, and manage outpatient services.
  

• Participate in an established after-hours call group.
  

• Collaborate with and supervise Advanced Practice Providers.
  

• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and community health goals.
  

• Optionally teach residents and medical students.
  

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
  

• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency.
  

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  

• Active Ohio medical license (or ability to obtain).
  

• Current DEA registration.
