This role provides full-cycle support across the ancillary sales process - from pre-sales activities to renewals and ongoing client service.
Nature and Scope of Responsibilities:
Administrative and Sales Support
- Review, qualify and enter RFPs into the quoting system; prepare new business proposals for eligible opportunities
- Send new business proposals to brokers via email
- Respond to broker and agent inquiries with accurate and timely information
- Manage and update sales and service CRM
- Document internal processes and administrative procedures
- Provide implementation documents to brokers upon request
- Generate and maintain weekly prospect activity and sales reports using CRM
- Provide general office support as needed
Renewals & Client Relationship Management
- Generate and deliver renewal proposals, including alternative plan options, to brokers and clients via email
- Manage the full renewal process through completion
- Maintain up-to-date renewal and service records in CRM
- Identify cross-sell opportunities during the renewal cycle by introducing additional products
- Process plan changes and monitor product additions
- Develop and implement client retention strategies
- Act as a key point of contact for ongoing broker and client communications
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years’ experience in group health/life insurance, customer service, or sales support
- Life & Health Agent License required within 90 days of hire
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Available to work in the office at least 3 days per week
