Visual Inspector

Warren, OH * Visual Inspector *Primary Functions: -Visually inspect parts for compliance to blueprint requirements Tools & Equipment: -Lift trucks, hand trucks, part dumpers, gauges, micrometers, P.C., sorting tables, etc Materials: -Steel forgings, various containers, plastic bags, tape, banding, forms, tags, etc Working Procedure: -Visually inspects parts to assure compliance to customer drawing -Dimensionally inspects parts as required -Loads and unloads sorting tables as required -Moves parts to various plant locations as required -Records data using P.C. or manual records as required -Package and identify product using proper containers, banding, tags, labels, etc -Operates shotblast and transfer equipment to assure supply of parts for visual inspection as required -Participates in training programs as required -Assists maintenance as required -Keeps workplace and equipment clean and orderly Skills: -Manufacturing exposure -Inspection experience -Motivated to work Compensation: -$20.79 plus $1hr shift differential -2nd and 3rd shift -Health insurance, dental insurance, paid holidays, sick leave, and vacation *Union facility, all rates, procedures and incentives are bound by contract Education: -High school diploma or GED preferred but not required *Background check and drug screen are a condition of employment To apply: -By phone at 330.847.3139 -By email at [email protected] -By mail or in person 3991 Mahoning Ave NW Warren, OH 44483Recommended Jobs
