Our client, a global food manufacturer in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking an Inventory Specialist for a 12-month contract position.

Position overview:
Join our Quality Food Safety department as an Inventory Coordinator and play a vital role in supporting our plant's operations. This position is essential to ensuring that supplies are accurately tracked, stored, and issued to keep our production equipment running smoothly.

A Taste of What You'll Be Doing:

• Prepare supplies and parts using online systems and portals.
• Maintain stock by receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming parts and supplies.
• Report shortages and perform shift-based inventory reporting.
• Conduct daily inventory counts with tablets and update records in online portals.
• Communicate effectively with team members and departments to ensure smooth operations.

Required:

• 2+ years of inventory tracking/coordination experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in online tracking systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Forklift operation experience (preferred)

Education Required:

• High School Diploma or GED with related work experience
