Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Technician to join our team.
- Conduct material sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, asphalt concrete, and concrete during placement on active construction sites.
- Interpret project specifications and working drawings.
- Perform field inspections, testing, and sampling. Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment on assigned projects.
- Accurately obtain and legibly record field data in an organized manner, as required by project plans, specifications, or staff. Generate and compile comprehensive field reports.
- Document daily installed construction quantities.
- Communicate effectively with all on-site team members, including contractors and owner representatives.
- Maintain open and timely communication with all relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure the proper maintenance of assigned vehicles and equipment.
- Understand and strictly adhere to all public health and safety requirements and established safety procedures.
- Undertake other duties as needed to support the team.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of materials testing experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- ACI Concrete Level I Concrete Field Testing Technician certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10-hour OSHA
