Business Development & Account Manager

Job Summary:
Walk Your Plans is seeking a motivated and self-propelled sales professional to join their growing team. The Sales & Account Manager will focus primarily on creating new relationships within the design & build and construction industry to add to the company’s subscription-based customer list. This individual will attend industry related networking events and tradeshows to help maximize brand exposure. The right candidate has a proven track record in both inside and outside sales, can effectively work in a CRM system, and has a passion for business growth. This position has a starting salary of $50,000 plus a heavy commissions and bonus structure.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement regular sales strategies to generate growth and achieve revenue targets.
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify new business opportunities, potential partnerships, and key areas for growth across different sectors.
- Actively manage CRM and respond to all inbound leads within 24 hours.
- Create proposals and conduct sales presentations and meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and ultimately close the deal.
- Monitor and manage the sales pipeline to ensure consistent lead generation, qualification, and conversion. Report regularly on sales forecasts and progress.
- Work closely with all internal team members to align company goals and initiatives.
- Host on-site walkthroughs with potential clients when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of proven sales experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrates a high level of business acumen
- Preexisting relationships with design & build and construction industry professionals (preferred)
- Experience with Zoho or other lead funnel CRMs
- Lives in the Greater Cleveland area
