Forklift Operator / Material Handler

Location: Cleveland, OH
Pay: Based on experience
Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: 1st Shift

About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and energetic Forklift Operator / Material Handler to join our fast-paced, high-volume warehouse team. This role is crucial in supporting production and shipping operations by safely moving materials throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely drive a forklift to load and unload materials
• Transport raw materials to production areas
• Move finished goods to shipping and receiving
• Relocate inventory to designated storage areas
• Package and prepare items for shipment
• Maintain accuracy and safety while handling materials
• Support overall workflow in a high-volume environment

Requirements

• Prior warehouse or shipping/receiving experience including forklift operation in fast-paced, high-volume environments
• High school diploma or GED (specialized training/certifications a plus)
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand, move, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Comfortable working around paper dust and occasional paint fumes from ink
• Dependable, reliable, and energetic with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with task variety and eager to learn
• Demonstrated job stability/tenure is a must
