Position: Automotive Service Cashier & Loaner Coordinator Location: Ricart Buick GMC - 2539 Billingsley Road, Columbus, OH 43235 Employment Type: Full-Time | Hourly | Non-Exempt

Are you a people-oriented individual who enjoys staying organized and helping things run smoothly? Ricart Buick GMC is looking for a Service Cashier & Loaner Coordinator to join our Service team! In this role, you'll be the friendly face customers see at checkout—and the go-to person for keeping our loaner vehicle program running smoothly.

What You'll Do:

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and process service payments quickly and accurately
• Handle cash, credit card, and warranty transactions
• Provide clear and helpful information about invoices and service charges
• Keep daily paperwork, filing, and reconciliation in check

Loaner Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Manage the scheduling and release of service loaner vehicles
• Verify insurance and driver's license details before issuing a vehicle
• Perform quick vehicle inspections before and after customer use
• Track and document usage, fuel levels, mileage, and any damage

Customer Service & Team Support:

• Be a helpful, upbeat presence at the cashier desk and in the service lane
• Communicate with advisors, technicians, and management
• Help answer phones, schedule appointments, and support the service team

What You Bring to the Table:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Friendly, positive attitude with great communication skills
• Customer service or cashiering experience (automotive a bonus!)
• Solid organizational skills and basic computer know-how
• Valid driver's license with 6 points or less and no major violations in the past 3 years

Working Conditions & Schedule:

• Primarily indoors in a dealership office and service environment
• May require standing or sitting for extended periods
• Occasional driving of loaner or customer vehicles
• Some evenings or Saturdays may be required, depending on dealership hours.
