Salary: $80,000 - $90,000
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00AM – 5:00PM, after-hours or weekend work as required

Job Summary:
The Associate Director of Campaign Giving will provide essential campaign management including administrative and operational support for a comprehensive capital campaign - to support CMA’s growth and long-term sustainability. This management role involves working closely with the Executive Director, Campaign Chairs and Cabinet, Campaign consultants, and senior leadership to coordinate campaign logistics, maintain accurate records and documentation, schedule meetings, prepare reports and materials, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the campaign. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, has excellent written and verbal communication skills, and is able to manage multiple tasks while working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders. The (Associate) Director of Campaign Giving serves as a key member of CMA’s Advancement team. They will report to the Deputy Director for Advancement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitors the overall campaign strategy and ensures the plan and timeline are maintained, implemented, and adjusted as needed.
- Coordinates internal and external resources to ensure campaign milestones are achieved.
- Implements campaign fundraising initiatives with appropriate staff and campaign volunteers.
- Provides administrative and logistical support to the campaign cabinet and other related groups.
- Supports efforts to recruit, train, and guide volunteer leaders.
- Establishes volunteer leadership relationships and supports volunteer engagement by scheduling, preparing for, attending, documenting, and following up on volunteer leadership meetings.
- Develops and maintains campaign prospect lists, creates philanthropic profiles for leadership and major gift prospects, develops prospect-specific engagement strategies, and monitors the status of cultivation and solicitations for individuals, corporations, and foundations.
- Tracks campaign contributions, pledges, and donor activities using the museum’s CRM system.
- Generates reports and dashboards for internal and external use.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date campaign records.
- Helps develop campaign materials.
- Acts as a liaison between campaign leadership and museum staff.
- Organizes a campaign office and monitors the budget.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, arts administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience coordinating and managing projects, with development or campaign experience strongly preferred.
- Prior experience supporting or managing a capital campaign is highly preferred.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in donor management software (e.g., Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Work Environment:
- This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, generally Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM.
- This position requires attendance at after-hour events, receptions, and occasional travel.
