Construction Laborer

Job Duties:** Laborer perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, set braces to support the sides of excavations, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers. Loading and unloading materials and equipment. Lifting required up to 50 pounds. Employer will provided food and lodging as necessary for workers on out of town job projects. Work performed on local area jobsites with employer provided transportation to and from jobsites from a centralized pickup location in the specified area of employment.

No experience required. On the job training. No education required.

Additional requirements: employer paid pre-hire drug test and criminal background check.

$26.28/hr., $39.42/hr. O.T. Employer will offer 40 hours/wk. of work with 30 minutes of lunch each workday, 7:00 a.m. -- 3:30 p.m., M-F, Some O.T. and weekends may be available, but is not guaranteed.

10 positions available for temporary, full-time, peak-load work.

Dates of Employment Offered: 04/01/2026- 12/15/2026.

Jobsites located in: Davidson, Hamilton, Knox, Williamson Counties of TN. Boyd, Greenup, Carter and Lewis Counties of KY. The employer will use a single workweek for computing wages due. Pay will be weekly.

Assistance securing lodging is not available. Employer provided lodging available during job projects for travelling workers only.

The employer will make all deductions required by law from each paycheck.

Additional deductions included: NONE.

If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.

H2B workers will be reimbursed by check for visa and related fees in the first workweek.

The employer will provide, without charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job duties.

The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
