Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Sign Installation Tech for our client. This job involves installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide variety of indoor and outdoor signage. This role requires a combination of technical skills, problem-solving ability, and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Install various types of signage, including channel letters, monument signs, wall signs, vinyl graphics, and digital displays
• Perform service calls for troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of existing signs and lighting systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate installations
• Operate hand and power tools, bucket trucks, lifts, and other equipment safely
• Ensure all installations meet company standards, local codes, and client specifications
• Conduct site surveys and assess installation requirements
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on jobs
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers on job sites
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA regulations

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred
• Previous experience in sign installation, electrical work, construction, or a related field strongly preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring (low voltage and/or LED systems)
• Ability to read measurements and use leveling tools accurately
• Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL a plus, if applicable)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Time management and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and equipment
• Customer service mindset and professionalism on job sites
• Frequent outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Use of ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and bucket trucks
• Travel to job sites as needed (local or regional)
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
• Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Communication skills.
