Sales Representative

Abacus is looking to hire a Sales Representative in the Columbus, OH area.

Key Responsibilities:

· Calling on established customers.

· Prospect and add new customers.

· Analyze territory and potential growth.

· Cultivate long-term relationships that will lead to increased sales.

Basic Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· 2+ years of relevant work or military experience

· 1+ year of sales experience

· Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.

· Valid driver’s license & acceptable MVR

· Willingness to travel and spend at least 2 nights a week away from home.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree

· 2+ years route-based sales and service experience

· Ability to work independently with little direction as a self-starter

· Demonstrated resiliency, persuasiveness & ability to deliver results

· Strong relationship management capability & consulting skills

· Effective oral & written communication skills, strong problem-solving skills

· Self-starter with the ability to consistently work independently for extended periods of time
