Ford Main Line Technician

Job Summary: Columbiana Ford is seeking a skilled and motivated Ford Main Line Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing and repairing Ford vehicles and will demonstrate a strong understanding of factory-recommended repair procedures. Key Responsibilities: * Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Ford vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards * Accurately document work performed on repair orders using Ford’s service systems * Utilize Ford diagnostic tools such as IDS/FDRS and other OEM platforms * Collaborate with Service Advisors to provide detailed repair estimates and timeframes * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Ford recall campaigns, TSBs, and warranty policies * Perform road tests as needed to ensure quality of work and customer satisfaction * Keep work area clean and organized, and adhere to all safety and environmental regulations * Participate in Ford training and certification programs to maintain Master Technician status or equivalent Qualifications: * Minimum 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably with Ford vehicles * Ford certifications (or willingness to obtain) strongly preferred * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record * ASE Certification is a plus * Strong understanding of automotive systems and diagnostic tools * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits: * Competitive flat-rate or hourly pay (based on experience and certifications) * Health, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) with company match * Paid vacation and holidays * Factory-paid training and career advancement opportunities * Employee discounts on vehicles, parts, and service We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
