ROLE OVERVIEW :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Vendor & Contracts Associate to provide part-time support to our IT Vendor Management Office (VMO). This role will provide exposure to vendor contracts, compliance activities, and governance processes while assisting with operational and administrative needs. It offers an opportunity to gain experience in contract management, negotiation support, and vendor oversight.

Key Responsibilities :

• Contract Support: Assist in organizing, reviewing, and tracking vendor contracts, renewals, and amendments.
• Governance & Compliance: Help monitor adherence to contract obligations, risk controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of contracts, vendor communications, and performance metrics.
• Vendor Coordination: Support vendor onboarding, communication, and meeting documentation (agendas, minutes, action items).
• Financial Support: Assist with invoice tracking, purchase order reviews, and budget monitoring.
• Reporting & Analysis: Help prepare reports on vendor performance, compliance status, and spend.
• General Assistance: Provide flexible support to the VMO leader across operational and strategic priorities.

Education and Experience :

• Typically possesses High School diploma (or equivalent) and 6 or more years of experience.

Knowledge and Skills :

• Interest in contracts, compliance, law, or governance strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational, research, and writing skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office/Excel; exposure to contract or vendor management systems is a plus.
• High attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a part-time capacity.

Compensation Range:

The pay range for this position is $26.63 - $45.29. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between $28.00 to $32.00. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
