Job Description

The Applications Engineer is a customer-focused professional who thrives in a results-driven environment, ensuring timely delivery of solutions. This role involves close collaboration with customers, outside sales teams, customer service, and applications engineering to understand client needs, provide technical support, and deliver tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to understand their technical requirements and provide effective solutions.
• Work closely with outside sales teams to support sales processes and achieve business goals.
• Coordinate with customer service and applications engineering teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Utilize CAD drafting skills to create accurate technical drawings and proposals.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers in person, via email, and over the phone.

• Minimum 2-year Associates Engineering degree and/or completion of a formal apprenticeship and/or CO-OP program.
• Extensive experience in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective customer interaction.
• Attention to detail in all business-related communications.
• Friendly, cooperative nature with a strong team spirit.
• Flexibility to handle a variety of assignments.
• Efficient time management skills to organize duties effectively.

• Experience in sales engineering is advantageous.
• Proficiency in CAD drafting is beneficial.

The position operates in a dynamic and collaborative work environment, requiring interaction with various teams and customers. The role demands flexibility and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, with a focus on delivering customer satisfaction.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Canton, OH.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.85/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in North Canton,OH.
