About the role and what you'll be doing: As the Senior Accountant you will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, including financial reporting, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes. You will serve as the subject matter expert for intercompany accounting, overseeing transaction reviews, resolving issues, and supporting policy and project work. You will drive process improvements, ensure compliance with global accounting standards, and support technical accounting initiatives. Additional responsibilities include coordinating external audits, preparing financial disclosures, and leveraging the Workday financial consolidation system. You will foster a culture of accountability and integrity, build strong partnerships with finance and business leaders, and actively contribute to enterprise-wide accounting projects.

• Financial Reporting: Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes.

• Intercompany Accounting: Primary responsibilities include intercompany transaction review, resolution of intercompany issues, and supporting related accounting policy and project work. Function as intercompany SME and support development of other team members' understanding of intercompany transactions.

• Process Improvements: Will be expected to improve processes within the scope of the position.

• Technical Accounting: Responsible for compliance with global accounting policies. Will support global technical accounting initiatives such as the implementation of new accounting standards.

• Accounting Projects: Support the Controller's group in execution of enterprise projects that impact the global accounting organization.

• External Audit: Coordinate audit requests, prepare footnotes and other financial disclosures for the annual audit process. Develop and maintain relationships that effectively represent the company's interests and core values with external auditors.

• Information Systems: Knowledge of the Workday financial consolidation system and the capabilities it can deliver to its users.

• Team leadership: Emphasizing high standards for accountability, collaboration, integrity, and professional pride.

• Business partner: Build strong relationships with key finance and accounting leaders.

• Actively look to bring solutions to apparent problems.

• Partner with operating and finance leaders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting

• Public accounting experience required.

• CPA license is preferred or in progress.

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong understanding of US GAAP

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to collaborate in a multicultural, remote, or distributed team environment.

• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this role is $93,000 to $135,000 annually based on a full-time schedule. Please note that placement in the range may vary based on numerous factors including but not limited to skills, experience, internal equity, and business needs. In addition to base salary, other compensation programs, depending on eligibility, include an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance and an equity grant under our Associate Equity Appreciation Program.
