Part-Time Medical Receptionist
Help wanted for part time receptionist for Medina based medical practice.Requirements:
Experience: 1-2 years customer service-related experience. (Experience in a medical office environment will be preferred)
Ability to build positive relationships with high level of interpersonal skills and interact in positive manner with staff and patients. Strong verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks according to importance in a fast-paced environment Multi-tasking capability without compromising on quality Must be proficient in handling office equipment including computers, printers, photocopy machines, etc. Dependable, punctual and able to work flexible working hours Role DescriptionMedical Receptionist acts as a liaison between the providers and patients by working directly with the provider to deliver high-quality, compassionate customer service and clinical care.
Core Responsibilities
Meet, greet, and assist patients promptly, efficiently, and in a professional manner
Set up new patients and update current patient information in the EMR system Schedule and reschedule appointments, as well as coordinate walk-in patients Answer phone calls and relay messages when necessary Maintain the front desk and reception area in an organized, orderly fashion Collect co-payments, deductibles, and co-insurances Process referrals, scripts and authorizations and provide complete and accurate referral information to our patients Balance cash register and ensure all credit payments are accurate Other duties as necessary Benefits:Paid Holidays
