Packaging Systems Engineer, Beauty & Personal Care Manufacturing

Kdc/one is a best-in-class producer of beauty and personal care products. We’re expanding at our state-of-the-art manufacturing site and seeking a Packaging Systems Engineer to elevate the performance of our filling and packaging operations, champion continuous improvement, and guide equipment decisions for new launches and cost reductions.

Your mission

• Maximize line performance: reduce downtime and small stops; improve quality and throughput.
• Drive CI culture: lead Lean/DMAIC initiatives and coach teams across the floor.
• Enable growth: select, qualify, and implement equipment for new products, processes, and capacity increases.
• Be the problem-solver: troubleshoot issues and implement sustainable process improvements.
• Own measurement: design systems and KPIs to assess line health and prioritize actions.
• Manage investments: keep capital projects on budget and on track.
• Innovate smartly: leverage 3D printing and 3D scanning for rapid, cost-aware solutions.
• Document rigorously: prepare proposals, costings, SOPs, WIs, and compliant qualification records.
• Communicate clearly: deliver weekly summaries on project statuses and outcomes.
• Build capability: train line leads, operators, and mechanics in SOPs and improvement methods.
• Strengthen safety and compliance: support Health & Safety programs and cGMP initiatives.
• Operate with integrity: maintain confidentiality; support off-shifts as needed; perform related duties as required.

What you’ll need to succeed

• BS in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial preferred) or equivalent years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years in production, ideally FDA-regulated, with exposure to high-speed and agile filling/packaging systems.
