S&S Volvo is looking to fill a General Manager position that will oversee all operations at our Lima, OH Volvo and Isuzu truck dealership.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee all operations of the sales, service, parts, and detail departments.
• Establish and maintain practices designed to hire, lead, manage, train, develop, motivate, and recognize employees.
• Meets with managers individually to develop monthly and annual goals and objectives, and to review actual performance
• Work effectively with customers, vendors, and other employees to attain required business outcomes and goals.
• Utilize the dealer management system to add structure, set expectations and deliver accountability.
• Prepare budgets, maintain, and exceed financial goals for the dealership.
• Analyze competition, market conditions, trends, and profit opportunities within the Dealership's assigned area of responsibility.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strategic thinking with a vision for success
• Financial background to manage budgets and drive profitability
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate effectively
• Knowledge of heavy and medium duty truck industry and products.
• Minimum 5 years of dealership management experience preferred.

Preferred Skills :

• Proficient with computer software, including Microsoft Excel and Office.
• Strong organizational, strategic planning, and communication skills.
• Strong marketing, customer service, and administration understanding.
