Program Coordinator

Ohio Optometric Association
Worthington, OH

iSee Ohio, the Foundation of the Ohio Optometric Association

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in communities across Ohio by helping children reach their full potential? The Ohio Optometric Association is seeking a dedicated, mission-driven, and highly organized professional to serve as Program Coordinator for its award-winning foundation, iSee Ohio. This role will support and coordinate school-based vision care programs that expand access to essential eye care services for children throughout the state.

About iSee Ohio, The Ohio Optometric Foundation

Did you know that nearly 80% of children in Ohio who fail a school vision screening never receive a comprehensive eye exam, while 25% of school-aged children has a vision problem that can impact learning and development? iSee Ohio is working to close this gap, by delivering free eye exams and eyeglasses directly to children in their schools. Through partnerships with school districts, local Doctors of Optometry, and the Ohio Department of Health, iSee Ohio coordinates school-based clinics and supports the State of Ohio’s OhioSee Program, developed in part through the organization’s pioneering work in children’s vision care. At iSee Ohio, we help children meet their full potential by improving access to quality, comprehensive eye care in their communities... because every child deserves to see.
