We’re looking for a Shift Manager to lead our SWEET team at our seasonal neighborhood ice cream shop, operating from mid-March to mid-October. In this role, you’ll receive tips in addition to your hourly wage, along with exciting bonus opportunities based on performance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the team during shifts
• Manage staff and reinforce company policies
• Assist in training new hires
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with health department regulations
• Handle customer questions and concerns
• Manage inventory and restock supplies
• Operate/monitor cash register transactions and handle end-of-shift deposits
• Open/close the shop as needed
• Maintain a positive and productive work environment

Qualifications:

• Self-motivated, reliable, and energetic
• Restaurant or food service experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for handling cash
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Friendly, team-oriented attitude
• Flexible schedule (weeknight and weekend availability required)
• Must be at least 18 years old or have a high school diploma/equivalent
