Regional Vice President - Union Supply - Corrections

Job Description

Aramark is looking for a strategic and experienced Regional Vice President of Union Supply that will lead and innovate Aramark’s commissary distribution and fulfillment processes to develop a best in class distribution model. Union Supply, is dedicated to the correctional industry, has become the fastest-growing commissary provider by prioritizing security, innovation, and value.

The ideal candidate will combine hands-on operational expertise with strategic vision, adeptly navigating a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Responsibilities include shaping operational strategies to ensure efficient fulfillment.

Job Responsibilities

Operational Excellence & Growth

• Provide strategic direction using analytics to assess historical performance and forecast inventory and distribution needs.
• Evaluate and optimize the current fulfillment and distribution model to scale efficiently across the national footprint.
• Implement Six Sigma or similar methodologies to identify and correct inefficiencies in fulfillment and logistics operations.
• Evaluate new revenue streams and margin enhancement opportunities across operations, client relationships, and service delivery.
• Develop and execute growth strategies that align with Union Supply’s mission and market positioning in the correctional industry.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards across all operational sites.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, coach, and motivate a regional, cross-functional team—including direct reports and matrixed partners—on strategic initiatives and operational execution.
• Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Recruit and develop talent to support long-term organizational goals.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal partners, and external stakeholders to ensure service excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Identify innovative and creative service solutions that expand on client requirements and enhance the Union Supply value proposition.
• Build relationships and influence across a geographically dispersed and matrixed organization.

Technology & Scalability

• Leverage technology to create scalable solutions that meet demand and improve fulfillment efficiency.
• Assess fulfillment center sites and recommend optimal order fulfillment methods based on data and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of ten years of experience in strategic fulfillment, operations, or logistics planning for warehouses.
• Experience with Six Sigma techniques.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Masters preferred
