Directional Drill Operator
We are seeking experienced/trained Directional Drill Operators, Equipment Operators, and Labors to join our team. As an Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment and machinery to horizontally bore utilities, repair and replace existing lines, and installation of new utilities. This role is physically demanding and requires mechanical knowledge and experience in operating equipment such as directional bore machines, excavators, dump and utility trucks, and loaders. A valid, clean driver's license is required. Travel may be required on average of 6-7 months out of the year around Ohio - home on the weekends. Qualifications:
- Operate and maneuver heavy equipment including directional bore machines, excavators, trucks and trailers, loaders, and other machinery.
- Work around utility locates to provide safe digging/drilling.
- Perform drilling operations to dig holes and trenches for construction projects.
- Follow project plans and blueprints to ensure accurate drilling and excavation.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of equipment operation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions Experience :
