Fleet Assistant for School Transportation

We are seeking an organized, detailed, hands-on person to oversee the maintenance, preparation, and daily operations of our fleet of minivans used for school transportation. Minor vehicle upkeep will be involved as well as some light facility maintenance responsibilities. In addition, there will be light office duties which will progress with experience.
Key Responsibilities
· Monitor and schedule vehicle services with our dedicated repair shops. We have software that tracks schedules and stores records that you will maintain.
· Handle field assistance for vehicle breakdowns.
· Oversee part-time cleaners/detailers and assist with vehicle cleaning as needed.
· Installation and maintenance of vehicle GPS/Dashcam equipment.
· Perform light facility and grounds maintenance.
· Track inventory of supplies for vehicles and facility.
Qualifications
· Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have good communication skills.
· Valid driver license with a clean driving record.
· Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
· General understanding of basic vehicle maintenance concepts.
· Must pass a background check and drug screen.
· Basic computer skills – use of Windows operating system and Office programs
· Transportation, fleet, or GPS experiences are preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
· $40,000 to $50,000 annual pay range
