Job Summary:

As a Nurse Manager, you provide leadership and oversee the daily operations of the patient care area at ProMedica.

In this role, you work with leadership and staff to plan and provide quality, consistent patient care and services. You will manage the unit organization and ensure compliance, integrate safety and quality measures, and promote evidence-based and ethical care.

You will interview and hire new employees and coordinate their orientation with the Unit Clinical Educator.

REQUIREMENTS

• Education: BSN required and condition to obtain an MSN within 5 years.

• Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years emergency nurse experience and 1-2 years in a charge nurse and/or similar type of leadership role.

• License: Current license to practice professional nursing in the state in which you are working

• Certification: CPR, ACLS, PALS and TNCC; retain a Certification in Emergency Nurse within 3 years.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Master’s Degree
