Spray Technician
WinnScapes, Inc. is a leading provider of landscape services in the region, dedicated to enhancing the beauty and health of both commercial and residential properties. As a full-time Landscape Fertilization Applicator, you will play a key role in maintaining vibrant, healthy landscapes by applying fertilizers and treatments, performing aerations, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service. This position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, develop your skills in the green industry, and contribute to a team committed to quality and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Apply fertilizers and lawn care treatments to commercial and residential properties according to established procedures and safety standards.
- Perform aerations and tree and shrub applications as needed to promote healthy landscapes.
- Interact professionally and courteously with clients, addressing questions and providing excellent customer service.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry standards and best practices.
- Ensure safety, quality, and productivity in all work performed.
- Assist with daily landscape crew activities and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Participate in snow removal activities as required during the winter season.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in fertilizer and lawn spray application.
- Valid Ohio driver’s license.
- Willingness to pursue certification with the Ohio Department of Agriculture.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. repeatedly.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
