Line Cook/Food Prep

We are a family-owned Thai restaurant opening soon in Bowling Green, OH with a location currently opened in Northwood, OH. We are looking for team members who enjoy working in the kitchen and wants to serve authentic Thai dishes. Kitchen communication is key as we work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Prepare ingredients for daily service, including washing, peeling, cutting, portioning, measuring, and assembling food items
• Assist with basic cooking and production tasks according to recipes, prep lists, and kitchen standards
• Stock and organize line stations with prepared ingredients, sauces, garnishes, and necessary supplies
• Label, date, store, and rotate food properly using FIFO procedures
• Help receive, check, and store deliveries according to food safety guidelines
• Maintain clean, sanitized, and organized prep areas, workstations, equipment, sinks, and floors
• Follow sanitation, food safety, and proper food-handling standards at all times
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment as needed to support kitchen operations
• Remove trash and recycling and help maintain overall kitchen cleanliness
• Communicate with cooks, prep team, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely preparation

Requirements

• Restaurant experience preferred
• Clear communication is required
• Friendly, professional, and positive attitude
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Able to stay calm and organized during busy dinner and weekend shifts
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to help wherever needed
• Weekend availability
• Food Handler certification is preferred
• Weekday lunch shift availability, 10 AM to 4 PM, preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods of time in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry heavy items, such as boxes, food supplies, pots, and kitchen equipment
