Job Title: Personal Care Attendant
Location: / Cuyahog, Lorain, Summit OH
Status: Part time/As needed
Salary: USD 15 - 17.00 Per Hour

Regardless of your level of experience, our training will provide the necessary skills to become a home health aide (HHA) or a nurse if you so choose! Just bring your dedication; the trainin and education for the rest!
Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
Some HHAs describe their job as being paid to hang out. Ultimately, your job will be to remove obstacles from your patients' daily life. You will go to their homes to check on them and provide basic care, from planning meals to brushing hair… or teeth! Your routine would consist in:
- Monitoring your patient(s) condition by observing physical and mental condition, intake and output, and exercise.
- Providing housekeeping and laundry services; shopping for food and other household requirements; preparing and serving meals and snacks; running errands.
- Providing personal services, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Helping them care for themselves by teaching use of cane or walker, special utensils to eat, special techniques, and equipment for personal hygiene.
- Helping family members care for the patient by teaching appropriate ways to lift, turn, and re-position the patient, advising on nutrition, cleanliness, and housekeeping.
- Recording information by making entries in the patient’s journal; notifying nursing supervisor of changing or unusual conditions.

Required Qualifications:

- Able to create and maintain a safe and effective environment.
- Knowledgeable about health promotion and maintenance.
- Nursing skills and experience with health care administration.
- Great communicator!
- Dependable.
- In control of your emotions.
- Previous experience with medical teamwork.
- No skill but have a desire to learn, no problem! We train for Home Health Aide Certificates
