We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role involves creating and maintaining impactful Power BI reports and visualizations to support key business functions, including finance, operations, and sales. This is a remote position, offering the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams while delivering meaningful insights to drive decision-making.
Responsibilities:• Develop and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports to support business needs across finance, operations, and sales.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable data solutions.
• Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
• Utilize data modeling techniques to design efficient and scalable data structures.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity while creating visualizations that effectively communicate insights.
• Maintain and enhance existing business intelligence solutions to meet changing requirements.
• Work closely with team members to provide technical expertise and resolve data-related challenges.
• Leverage Microsoft SQL for querying and managing datasets.
• Apply BusinessObjects technologies to support reporting and analysis processes.
• Provide regular updates and clear communication to stakeholders about project progress and findings.• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience working with Microsoft Power BI.
• Proficiency in data modeling and business intelligence tools.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL and its application in data analysis.
• Experience with BusinessObjects technologies is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with creating visually compelling and user-friendly dashboards.
