Medium Duty Service Technician

Our busy Service Department is expanding and we are looking to hire a certified a Medium Duty Service Technician. SERVICE TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform work on 4500/5500 large trucks and diesel vehicles
- Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to identify customer concerns
- Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
- Complete basic maintenance, fluid exchanges, wheel alignments, mount and balance tires and brake replacement
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- Continuously participates in ongoing education opportunities
REQUIREMENTS:
- ASE certified
- Must have diesel experience
- GM experience is a plus
- Able to work in fast-paced environment
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Clean and valid driver’s license
- Must have own tools and tool box
