CNC Operator
shift: First
work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM
education: High School Responsibilities
- Operate Haas VF-4 vertical milling centers according to production plans.
- Read engineering drawings, blueprints, and basic GD&T to understand machining steps and tolerances.
- Load raw materials, secure workpieces, and verify basic fixture setups and offsets.
- Monitor milling cycles, check part finishes, and perform basic tool wear adjustments.
- Conduct quality checks on finished parts using precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance (cleaning machines, checking coolant/lubrication levels, and chip removal).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace following 5S standards.
