Join Peebles-Herzog, Inc. as a Pipe Organ Technician/Tuner, where your expertise will bring music to life! In this position, you'll work with a dedicated team in Columbus, Ohio dedicated to preserving and enhancing pipe organs. The position is full time (40 hours a week). Responsibilities:
- Tune and maintain pipe organs to ensure optimal sound quality and performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and repairs on all components of pipe organs.
- Document maintenance and tuning activities for each instrument serviced.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques in organ tuning and maintenance.
- Assist in the installation, repairs, and restoration of pipe organs and related equipment.
- Work with a variety of tools and technology.
- Proven experience in pipe organ tuning and maintenance is preferred and will be compensated appropriately.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of a musical keyboard and/on musical training.
- Basic knowledge and skill with tools.
- Ability to lift and carry objects in an excess of 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel for on-site tuning and maintenance.
- Ability to work in cramped or confining spaces, as well as spaces that may be high up requiring access via a ladder.
- Strong communication skills for client interactions.

We provide tuning and restoration services throughout Ohio and the surrounding states. The company provides transportation, travel expenses, and provides per diem when traveling.
