What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the sales floor, common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and document security-related concerns such as suspicious behavior, property issues, and/or maintenance-related hazards.
• Assist with opening and closing activities, support loss prevention awareness efforts, and help maintain an orderly environment for staff, tenants, and/or guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
