FS 60 % FE 40% BE (Angular, Java, AWS)

Kforce has a client that is seeking an FS 60 % FE 40% BE (Angular, Java, AWS) in Westlake, TX. Duties:

• Mobile development (iOS and Android e.g., Kotlin and Swift), including user preference handling
• Contributing to architectural discussions, with the ability to articulate a strong point of view and collaborate closely with dedicated architecture teams
• Debugging and performance optimization skills in Web, API and Mobile environments demonstrating tools such as Charles Proxy, Chrome Developer Tool, Postman/Insomnia
• Working multi-functionally with marketing and product teams to align on user experience and communication preferences
• Use Agile methodologies and modern software delivery practices, including the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS/CIS or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven focus on web and mobile application development
• Experience with mobile development (iOS and Android e.g., Kotlin and Swift), including user preference handling
• Experience working multi-functionally with marketing and product teams to align on user experience and communication preferences
• Solid experience with Agile methodologies and modern software delivery practices, including the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Demonstrable experience contributing to architectural discussions, with the ability to articulate a strong point of view and collaborate closely with dedicated architecture teams
• Familiarity with backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java) and RESTful API design
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and at least one modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue)
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills in Web, API and Mobile environments demonstrating tools such as Charles Proxy, Chrome Developer Tool, Postman/Insomnia
