Nurse Manager / RN Only

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Supervision: Recruit, hire, and supervise nursing staff, ensuring competency and performance standards are met. Conduct regular evaluations and provide ongoing training.

Quality Improvement: Participate in quarterly quality improvement meetings, analyze data, and implement corrective action plans to enhance health services.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with behavioral and programmatic staff to develop and implement comprehensive care plans. Attend team meetings and support planning for individuals receiving care.

Staff Training & Development: Provide education and training on medication administration, illness recognition, and other clinical processes to ensure best practices.

Clinical Oversight: Ensure that all clinical tasks are completed accurately, oversee staff performance, and participate in an on-call rotation to provide support outside of regular hours.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, oversee audits and surveys, and maintain required documentation.

Direct Patient Care: Provide hands-on nursing care as needed, including administering medications and monitoring patient conditions.

Communication & Coordination: Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, caregivers, medical professionals, and external providers to ensure seamless care delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

Minimum of two years of nursing experience, with at least one year in a management or supervisory role.

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or similar conditions (preferred).

CPR certification (required).

Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Strong computer skills, including experience with documentation systems.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Compliance with all state-required certifications and ongoing training requirements.
