Role Snapshot
- Operate plating and cleaning processes to protect and enhance metal components.
- Use proper PPE 100% of the time while handling/mixing acids and plating chemicals.
- Adhere to documented procedures and complete records (e.g., WEPM6001, WEPM8006).
- Control bath chemistry—titrations, tank balance, and temperature checks.
- Prepare parts: load into baskets/racks and move through chemical and rinse stages.
- Dry, inspect, and confirm parts meet quality criteria; rework if nonconforming.
- Perform preventative maintenance and tank cleaning when required.
- Work with peers to achieve efficiency and quality objectives.
- Notify supervision of chemical reorder points and any urgent issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; be present, punctual, and prepared each shift.
What You Bring
- Background in plating, chemical processing, or similar manufacturing operations.
- Familiarity with chemical safety practices and standards.
- High attention to detail and dedication to producing quality work.
- Physical capability to lift, push, and carry parts and materials.
- Ability to precisely follow instructions and documentation.
- Team-first mindset; comfortable in a fast-paced production environment.
