RN Med-Surg/Telemetry (MS/Tele) (with $7,500 Completion Bonus)
Registered Nurse – MS/Tele Travel Position Location: Akron, OH Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3×12s Days Pay: $2,221.20/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Med-Surg/Telemetry (MS/Tele) Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare facility in Akron, OH on a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will deliver high-quality nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical support. The ideal candidate is experienced in MS/Tele nursing, adaptable in diverse clinical environments, and committed to patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the MS/Tele unit.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as ordered by the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, disease management, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Follow infection control standards, safety protocols, and evidence-based practices.
- Current and valid RN license in Ohio (or compact eligibility).
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent MS/Tele nursing experience in an acute care setting.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
