Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Dining Facility Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our busy dining facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth running of all food service activities, maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. The Dining Facility Supervisor will play a crucial role in creating a positive dining experience for our customers and a productive work environment for our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, servers, and other dining facility personnel.
• Ensure adherence to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations and standards.
• Monitor food preparation, presentation, and service to maintain high-quality standards.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs to optimize profitability without compromising quality.
• Develop and implement staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operations.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to existing staff.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dining environment for both staff and customers.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility and equipment to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
• Prepare daily reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance.
• Foster a positive team environment and promote effective communication among staff members.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) in a supervisory role within a dining facility, restaurant, or catering environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and sanitation standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a diverse team, delegate tasks effectively, and motivate staff.
• Proficiency in inventory management, cost control, and basic budgeting.
• Customer-focused with a commitment to providing outstanding service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or hospitality management certification preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
