The Bistro Prep & Dishwasher primary responsibilities will include:

• Prepare and measure ingredients for recipes (e.g., chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc.)
• Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas
• Monitor inventory and report shortages
• Rotate stock items as per established procedures
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwasher or by hand
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing station
• Remove trash and recyclables and place them in designated areas
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors
• Clean food preparation and production areas as required
• Monitor dishwashing temperature to ensure proper sanitization
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing duties as needed
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by supervisor.

What is required in this position?

• Applicant must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma/GED
• Food service experience preferred
• ServeSafe II Certification preferred
