Retail Management - Clothes Mentor - Upper Arlington

Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in all aspects of daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Supervise, motivate, and direct team members to achieve store goals and deliver outstanding customer service
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, and training new employees to ensure the store is properly staffed
- Maintain high standards of merchandising and visual presentation
- Buy and price gently used clothing and accessories according to company guidelines
- Uphold all operational policies and procedures, including loss prevention
- Communicate daily and weekly goals to the team and monitor progress
- Step into the Store Manager role as needed in their absence
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of management experience in retail, restaurant, or other fast-paced environments
- Sales-driven, goal-oriented, and demonstrates high integrity
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and adjust priorities in a dynamic environment
- Capable of frequent walking, standing, stooping, climbing ladders, pushing, and repetitive lifting
- Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs and visually inspect merchandise
- Available to work 40 hours per week, including 2 nights and rotating weekends
- Must be able to drive at any time during assigned shifts to perform banking functions
