Hyperlogistics Group, Inc ., a 3rd Parly Logistics Provider (3PL) specializing in warehouse and distribution services, is looking for a degreed accountant to fill our Accountant position. This is an on-site position and will be located at our headquarters near Rickenbacker Airport.

In 2019, as a part of our succession plan for the future of the company, Hyperlogistics created an ESOP and converted the company to an Employee owned. The objective of this change was to create a clear, long-term direction for the company, to recognize the hard work of our employees and create incentive for our employees to stay with the company.

What We Are Looking For :

Reporting an officer of the company, this position will be responsible for managing and conducting all day-to-day accounting operations. As there are no direct reports for this position, the successful candidate will be expected to perform all accounting activities within the accounting department. This role will give the candidate an opportunity to experience and understand a wide range of our business operations through the management of financial reporting, receivables and payables and support in the organization of company-wide activities. Our ideal candidate is analytical, self-confident, will take the initiative when needed and is an excellent project manager that can be self-sufficient in task completion.

What You’ll Do :

· Maintenance, administration and supervision of the general accounting system and accounting functions.

· Review and report accounting results.

· Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial operating reports.

· Maintain banking records.

· Develop, implement, and apply appropriate accounting procedures, in accordance with Company and professional guidelines.

· Process weekly payroll through Accupay.

· Accounts Payable.

· Accounts Receivable.

What You’ll Bring:

· 2-5 years of recent accounting experience.

· General knowledge and understanding of accounting practices.

· Previous experience conducting financial statement preparation and closings.

· Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Independent, self-starting, team player with a positive attitude.

· Recent QuickBooks experience of 1 to 2 years.

· Proficient PC skills, 10 key ability and Microsoft excel a must.

· Excellent communication and time management skills.

·Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
