Automotive Technician

Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct thorough vehicle quality inspections and post-repair checks to ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and company quality expectations.

• Perform vehicle accessory installations, module replacements, calibrations, and software/firmware updates in accordance with manufacturer and company procedures.

• Accurately document all diagnostic findings, repairs, parts used, and labor performed in company systems.

• Deliver high-quality workmanship that reflects pride in work and adherence to manufacturer and company standards.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area, including proper care and use of tools and equipment.

• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times.

• Collaborate effectively with team members and support overall shop efficiency.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven and verifiable experience as an Automotive Technician or Auto Mechanic.
• Strong working knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems.
• Proficiency with modern vehicle diagnostic systems, scan tools, and troubleshooting methods.
• Ability to safely operate shop equipment, including vehicle lifts, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Willingness and ability to adapt to new technologies, repair methods, materials, and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
• Ability to work independently as well as contribute positively in a team-oriented environment.
