As our Insurance Customer Service Agent, you'll be the first point of contact for our valued policyholders, offering a helping hand and clear guidance. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring everyone who interacts with The Hutch Agency feels heard, understood, and well-cared for. If you have a natural talent for making people feel comfortable, are an easily understandable and effective communicator, have a knack for problem-solving, a desire to listen and learn along with a warm, inviting demeanor, you'll fit right in here. Be experienced.

Take pride in learning insurance and helping teammates.

Be the friendly voice that policyholders connect with for their insurance needs.

Answer questions about policies, billing, and coverage with clarity and patience.

Assist policyholders with policy changes, endorsements, and updates.

Process payments and explain billing statements clearly.

Help policyholders through the initial steps of the claims process.

Provide quotes (once properly licensed) and have effective follow-up skills on those quotes.

Quickly and efficiently reach out to leads that have indicated an interest in obtaining a quote from our agency.

Offer other insurance products to existing customers that they may not have with the agency, for example, home no auto, auto no home, umbrella or life insurances to round out existing accounts to properly protect our customer.

Proven customer service experience, preferably in the insurance industry.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A genuine desire to help people and solve problems.

Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Be willing to complete P&C and Life/Health licensing within 30 days after hiring if not already licensed.
