Legal Assistant - Business & Corporate Law
We’re recruiting for a Cleveland-based law firm seeking a Legal Assistant to support its Business & Corporate Law group. This role requires hands-on experience with transactional work, providing essential support for attorneys handling mergers, acquisitions, entity formations, and corporate filings. What You’ll Do
- Draft, edit, and proofread contracts, correspondence, and closing documents
- Manage DocuSign workflows, organizational charts, and closing binders
- Track signatures, maintain corporate records, and coordinate closings
- Serve as a point of contact between attorneys, clients, and third parties
- Handle time entry, scheduling, and general administrative support
- Background as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary supporting business or corporate attorneys
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, DocuSign, and legal document management systems
- Understanding of transactional processes, corporate records, and closing documentation
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and multitasking skills
