**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing support to staff and visitors as necessary.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both indoor and outdoor areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.
+ Monitor access points and observe activity around the perimeter and within the premises, reporting any unusual or suspicious behavior.
+ Support the unique needs of utility and cultural institution environments by being attentive to public interactions, exhibits, and infrastructure.
+ Communicate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as required to report incidents or request assistance.
+ Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
