The facility has a history of stability with no layoffs and long-tenured leadership, offering a sense of security and continuity. You will work in a well-established organization with opportunities for advancement, without being tied to a single machine or closely micromanaged, allowing you to work independently and build confidence in your role.

Work Environment

The facility operates 24/7 with four primary shifts: yellow days, yellow nights, green days, and green nights. Night shift hours are 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., following a rotating pattern that typically provides three days off, two days on, and three days off, giving every other weekend off and additional weekdays off. The plant is clean, well-lit, organized, and highly automated, producing approximately 500,000 battery caps per day on 36 machines running continuously. The environment is described as laid back yet professional, with a strong emphasis on safety and cleanliness. Work involves extensive walking, standing, and material handling, including using pallet jacks to move skids. Employees wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and hearing protection as part of the standard dress and safety requirements.
